What is it that makes a friend a friend? I could give you a million quotes that will make you smile ear to ear but when it comes down to it it’s very simple for me. A friend is a person:
– who sees you for you
– who let’s you be you even when you’re weird or crazy
– that helps you find you when you’ve lost you
– and likes to laugh because if you don’t like to laugh I don’t have time for you.
As I write this I think about the friends in my life and they all check the friendship boxes. And I smile. Because I am so lucky to have these friends. They all bring a little something different to my life.

In Dream Town last night I was surrounded by friends. One scene featured the the four ladies I have plans with tonight, another scene starred friends I haven’t seen in years, and later there were friends I had once but lost. So why friends? What does it mean to dream of friends?
Sometimes we dream of our friends because they’re on our mind. Perhaps we’ve been thinking about them in daily life so we dream about them at night.
Other times they are representing characteristics of ourselves that need attention.
-Dreaming of your friend who is highly successful? Maybe you aren’t feeling that same success. Take a page out of her book and work just a little harder tomorrow.
-That carefree friend who never seems to GAF? It’s time to lighten up a smidge. You can take life seriously, but you can also take time to let things go. Not every thing is a huge deal.
-Did a little somethin’ somethin’ under the covers 😉 with that friend and now you feel all weird because WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??? It confirms your bond. What’s more intimate, than, well, intimacy? Dreaming of engaging in some intimate behaviors shows you how much that person really does mean to you in your life. So try not to be too freaked out about it. Unless you are physically attracted to them and perhaps want to pursue that. In that case, well, I’ll let you decide what to do with that. But now you know.

-Haven’t seen that person since you were in high school? There’s something about yourself from that time you need to reconnect with. A hidden issue that’s been locked deep inside, or a characteristic you’ve lost. What do you think about when you think of your life at the time you were friends with that person? Use that to guide you.
-A childhood friend? Let’s think about childhood. What was it like? Carefree? Little responsibility? Immaturity? Are you needing a little dose of childhood in your life right now? Are you feeling the pressures of being an adult and longing for that feeling of being a child? Try to do something that makes you feel like a kid again. So you know you still have that little one inside of you.
