There I was on the edge of an incredible dream. And then…hello morning!
How often does this happen to you? An amazing dream, then, you’re awake. And your first thought is something along the lines of,
“Ugh, I’m up, but that was such a good dream.”
Reframe your approach. Follow these tips to get back into that dream –
- Keep your eyes closed. Do not open them, this will surely sabotage your dream. Don’t look at the clock or check your phone, keep those eyes closed.
- Retrace your steps. Remember as many details about the dream that you possibly can. Look for the things and people that were around you, recreate the environment you were in.
- Plant yourself in the dream. Now imagine picking yourself up and dropping yourself right in the middle of that dream. Continue on with the dream where you left off.
If you’re unable to get back there, that’s ok. Its not an easy thing to do, but with practice, you’ll find success. The good news is you’ve spent a considerable amount of energy recalling the dream and can now take some time to journal all about your experience and reflect on the meaning within the dream.
Sweet dreams.
