What a fabulous 18 hours it has been. If you follow me on insta then you’ve seen the pics and stories.
Here’s a quick recap and further proof that NOTHING is a coincidence and EVERYTHING is connected.
I headed to the big city last night after receiving an email with an invitation to attend Good Morning America with some incredible like-minded individuals. The morning started at GMA. I was a stranger to this group of women, but they welcomed me just the same. I knew they were good people after a bit of a mishap. If you must know, first I introduced myself, second I took my coat off, third my shirt flew open. 😳
They did what every be-a-good-woman-meme suggests you should do.
Only it wasn’t a crooked crown. But these strangers, soon to be friends, alerted me discretely and I remedied the situation.
We were in row two, just behind a row of three beautiful women. One of whom felt drawn to our presence. Or was it our energy? Maybe our power? I think all of the above.
After an incredible hour with amazing celebrities we went to breakfast where the woman from row one showed up. She had traveled to New York on her own, just as I did. Just as we all did in one way or another. And wouldn’t you know it, we were the EXACT people she needed in her life? And we needed her.
What were our reasons for being there today? Why did the universe put us within five feet of each other?
In short? I think each of us was there to help someone else. I think the stranger from row one needed her story to be heard. And we helped give her a safe space to tell it. I think some needed confirmation that the work they’re doing is making a difference, and we were there to applaud them. I think I have been struggling to find my people (other than my dear friends of course that support me unconditionally) and I found them within this group. And there are so so so many more!!! We needed a group hug from the universe, and that’s exactly what we got.
Lives were changed today people. And none of it was really planned. It all just fell into place. That’s how the universe works. There are no coincidences, everything is connected. Everything it perfectly orchestrated by something we don’t completely understand, or at least I don’t anyway. But I trust it.
How does dreaming fit into this? If you’ve been following my blog, you have seen how I’m growing, healing, and expanding by following the clues in my dreams. Six months ago I never would have put myself out there the way I am starting to. I never would have commented on the LinkedIn post of a CEO, who would soon put this day together, that would lead to an opportunity to bring these women, myself included, exactly what they needed today.
Six months ago I never would have just up and went to New York by myself. In just six months I have changed. And by doing not much more than watching, listening, experiencing, and understanding my dreams. Essentially I’m sleeping and improving. Let that sink in. That’s awesome.
Your dreams are constantly telling you how to be your best self. You need to be listening. You need to look at the characters, settings, symbols, and dialogue to put the pieces together and solve the puzzle. As you take the clues and apply them to your waking life, you will soon see the changes happening around you. It.Is.Incredible!
While I enjoyed the 18 hours in the city, I am REALLY looking forward to catching some zzz’s tonight since I got zero winks last night. Excitement, sure, but mostly because, well, the lady in the room next to mine had some serious extracurricular activities going on, that, ummm, made it difficult for me to fall asleep. And stay asleep. Because it woke me up periodically throughout the night. As did the slamming of her door as guests came and went every hour-and-a half.
That’s all I have to say about that.
Be sure you’re following me everywhere so you don’t miss a thing!
